Current obsession? White slip-on. Can’t get enough of them. I am currently hooked up with almost everything that’s comfortable without the need to compromise style. I know a lot of us girls nowadays would very much prefer wearing comfy clothes but would still want to look fashionable. For me, I always make it a point that if I were to wear something simple, I’d always pair it with something that gives the whole look a little character and attitude. Give it a little twist or a dash of your own personality. =)

If you’re wondering why I call this blog post “Waves”, blame it on the dress. It reminds me so much about summer, the flowy backless dresses we used to wear when it was time to hit the beach. I do think these flowy dresses have other purposes as well aside from being the perfect beach wear. I also like to wear them over my swimsuits and right after a good swim.
Now that rainy season is here. I think I’ll have to wear a jacket or a vest for now. It’s starting to get really cold at night and I’m loving the cool weather. Although I wish It didn’t rain so much. Hihi!
BlackFive dress/ Pretty Little Blings necklace
Dressing up for todays ootd! What I love most about these type of printed dresses is how you can easily dress them up for parties or dress it down casually for a day at the mall or when you’re out running errands. For an everyday look, I’d go for a pair of white slip-ons or some flats for a comfy look.
Back in the days, I used to hate wearing dresses. My mom would always put me in these girly dresses that had puffy skirts. I’d always take ‘em off and change back into my favorite pair of jeans and shirt… Don’t forget the Skechers. Haha! Never thought I’d learn to appreciate dresses now. They’re like the girliest sh*t ever made and I love ‘em! Haha!
Forever21 bag & necklace/ H&M skater skirt
Tres Shoes Hanley in Taupe
Ripples Julia top in red
Just a thought. I don’t think the skater skirt trend will ever go away anytime soon. Even I have been sooo hooked up on these cute little round skirts. Been buying almost every color and print I see in stores. Ladies, I know you did too! Let’s face it, they’re so versatile and they go with almost everything that we wear. You can either dress them up or go casual and simple for everyday looks.
Here I wore mine with a plain red top just to give out a little color from my usual black and white ensembles if you guys noticed. Hehe! It’s not everyday that you see me wear red except for my lippie. But I’m always willing to try out new things especially when It comes to fashion. It just keeps you interested when you experiment.
Have a great weekend guys! =)

Had to wear something pink since it’s the official Sunsilk color. So here I am in my pink bouffant skirt from PINKaholic. Reminds me of those 1950’s glamour dresses. Just goes to show that these types of designs are timeless and most definitely a classic.
