Spent 3 days in paradise with the family for our mom’s birthday getaway in Shangri-la Mactan, Cebu. Too bad our dad really couldn’t come with us. =(

I think that was actually the first time i felt the summer season of 2013 when i finally got to swim in the beach and walked around in the white sands and actually feeling the heat of summer.

Hope you enjoyed this blog update! mwah! =)

The Changing Face of the Wholesale Clothing Industry

A common misconception about wholesale clothing for children is that most consumers associate the term ‘wholesale’ with cheap, low-quality clothes. No discerning customer would like to boast of their ‘wholesale’ clothing purchases. However, wholesale clothing sold in the United States and around world features high quality apparel and accessories that are the choice of millions of customers. Recognizing the potential of the wholesale kids clothing market, big brands such as Nike, Disney, Wal-Mart and Sears have tapped into this market. As a result, consumers in the United States and around the world enjoy access to the same brands that would once be out of their budgetary reach.

A Changing Customer Demographic

For several decades now, fashion for children has been one of the most profitable industries in the world. The wholesale children’s’ clothing industry in particular, has cut across economic strata with movie stars and soccer moms visiting wholesale stores or wholesale kids e-stores to purchase clothing from big brands and new brands. In response to the varied demographic, wholesale stores have enhanced and expanded their businesses to be able to cater to a wider range of customer needs:

Wholesale Boutiques: The explosion in the demand for branded wholesale children’s clothes has resulted in the creation of ‘wholesale boutiques’ where adults and children can shop in the refinement of a boutique store while enjoying wholesale prices. Several stores offer entertainment, toys, kids’ television and fast food as part of a complete shopping experience.

Mom-and-Me Stores: The rise of the brand-conscious urban parent has had predictable, yet interesting repercussions on the wholesale clothing industry. Wholesale brands now offer clothing options to both parents and kids while established brands in the wholesale market are glad to add the suffix ‘Kids’ to their existing lines. In part, this phenomenon is based on market studies that suggest that parents who are loyal to a particular set of brands for their own apparel needs are far more likely to buy the same brands for their children.

Family Wholesale Stores: Some of the biggest brands in the wholesale market such as Urban, Focus, G-Unit and Rocawear offer clothing for toddlers, children, teens, adolescents and adults. Wholesale clothing manufacturers have responded to this massive demand by flooding the market with high-quality clothing, creating a win-win situation for wholesalers and consumers. Over the last decade, the demand for clothing around the world has seen several American and European brands set up stores and clothing lines in countries such as India, the Philippines, China and several African nations.

Today, wholesale kids clothing offers far more than the low budget, low quality children’s apparel that filled the market half a century ago. It has grown to be a thriving industry that has spread across demographics and continents, rivaling the retail clothing industry in several areas. Wholesale kids’ apparel and accessories are the first choice for a growing number of parents and children who recognize that premium quality does not necessarily mean a premium price and that good, stylish clothes from trusted brands are now available at affordable prices in a nearby store. Quality, affordability and accessibility look to be the hallmark of the children’s wholesale clothing industry for many decades to come.

What’s more summer-y than wearing an off-shoulder top? Throw in some floral prints to round off that look. As a matter of fact, I already felt the summer closing in since last week. Weather here has been crazy hot then all of a sudden, rain starts pouring in. I know, it’s weird. =p

Moving on to my ootd. Hehe! I’ve noticed that off the shoulder tops have been pretty popular these days. I’ve seen a few famous personalities sporting this trend but i can’t seem to remember who. Ugh, bad memory. Anyway, i find the off shoulder trend to be a little too girly for my taste, however, i’m still drawn to it since they’re really easy to work up an entire outfit. For my look, i choose to wear a floral skirt to play up with the colours and add a little print to the whole look. A pair of printed shorts or denim cutoffs will do just fine as well.

Like the top i’m wearing? I suggest you go grab it now… and fast. Limited pieces only, from our very own PINKaholic Couture. =)

Have a blessed sunday everyone!

Stephanie

Despite the scorching hot weather here in Butuan, I still love wearing long sleeved tops and knitted pullovers. I just can’t get enough of them and besides i get cold easily especially at night. But of course, i wouldn’t think of pairing them off with trousers and boots. Lol. So in order to balance every piece i’m wearing and still maintain that summer vibe without looking too covered up. Simple, wear a pair of floral print shorts, some cute open-toe heels and an arm party to top off that look. Just a little piece of fashion advice if you still want to wear your favorite knitted tops during the summer heat… And make sure the colors complement each other.  =)

So anyway, summer is officially here! Where are you guys headed? I’m pretty excited about heading to the beach in the next few weeks. Camiguin! *fingers crossed*  I think its been months since i last saw the beach. Haha! Loser lang.

Have a great weekend guys! Mwah!

Another one of my many pending posts. =)

Last weeks look when i was in Manila. I had to redo the whole look just so i can shoot it for an ootd post since I had no one with me to take my pictures while in manila. So yeah, a complete re-do would be the only solution. Hehe!

So about this look. I am such a huge fan of sweaters, pullovers, jumpers or whatever you wanna call it. I’d wear them everyday for the rest of my life if i could. I just wish we had a much cooler weather here in Philippines. =( Anyway, who would have thought about slashing the back part of this sweater? Clever! The slashed part was what actually convinced me to get it. In fact, i already thought of this whole look even before the package arrived. Lol.

That’s it for now guys! Mwah!

Backlog, but i’m glad i found the time to update my blog more often nowadays. I even managed to update it without having to bring my lappy with me, thank God for scheduled posts. I’m trying my best to keep it up for as long as i can. *pinky promise* Hehe!

That will be all for now! Mwah!

Checkmate!

Just got my package from Romwe this week and here’s my first outfit from the bunch. My jaw dropped the moment i saw this dress! Its just beautiful. You know how much i love anything that comes in black. I’m a huge black and white fan actually. I wouldn’t get tired of ‘em. They’re just super  versatile. Don’t you think?

A little tip: Black makes you look thinner. So if you guys wanna look more slender. Wear something black or something that has black cut outs on it, especially on the tummy part where want those muffin tops hidden away. Lol. Anyway, its just an illusion but it really helps. *wink*

Soooo… What are we gonna talk about for today? I actually don’t have anything in mind as of this moment. Hehe! I am all blanked out. Hmm..Oh here’s one. I was thinking of doing a major revamp on my whole blog. I found this perfect theme for it, the one i was actually looking for but i really haven’t tried it yet. It might take up a lot of my time for sure. And i hope to do it all on my own. Nyahaha! Feeling techy si ate. Lols.

So i think thats all for now guys! Till my next post! =)

Stephanie
