Top Holiday Wardrobe Essentials

After a long, cold and wet winter, you might have thought summer was just a figment of your imagination, but it’s finally here, or on its way at least.  It may be a few weeks away yet but it’s never too early to prepare. To give you a kick start, take a look at these top holiday wardrobe essentials to help you sizzle on the beach.

Dresses

Every woman should take a few dresses on holiday, whether you’re wearing one to lounge by the pool, go out for dinner or just wander around town, they’re a holiday essential. There are two styles of dresses we’d recommend for any summer holiday: the sundress and the maxi dress. Both styles are really flexible, so you can bling them up for a night out or just throw on a pair of sandals for a relaxed day look.

Shorts

This summer sees shorts coming back into fashion and you don’t have to wear teeny-tiny hotpants to be a part of the trend. Tailored, high-waisted and denim shorts have all been making an appearance on the catwalk recently. Pair them with a loose-fitting top and flip flops for a really summery look.

Bikini

You’ll want to look your best on the beach if you’re hoping to catch some rays when on holiday this summer. Don’t hide away in the shade, put on your best bikini and get out on that sun lounger. It’s a good idea to take two or three bikinis so you can alternate on different days.

Kaftan

Holidays are a time to relax so it’s important to be comfortable and a great way to do that is with a gorgeous kaftan. You can add a touch of Middle East class to your wardrobe with this long flowing garment as well as ensuring that you feel relaxed and comfortable.

Hat

Although there’s nothing wrong with getting a tan on your hols, remember to protect yourself from the strong summer sun. Your scalp is particularly vulnerable so try and cover up with a stylish hat. Fedoras, baseball caps and bucket hats are all popular this summer.
